I woke up today with a smile on my face. No, it wasn’t because the sun was shining through my bedroom window or that I won the lottery… Nope, it’s because the wedding we shot yesterday left a good feeling inside. Two warm and friendly families coming together and a very cool couple tying the knot. You couldn’t ask for more……ok, a bit of sunshine would’ve been nice………..or how about a weatherman that can predict a forecast…….ok, had to get that off my chest……Anyway, as I write this, I’m relaxing with a cup of coffee and remembering the day as it unfolded. We started off in Beachwood at Michael Christopher’s Salon and captured Allison, the girls, and Allison’s mom getting their hair and make-up done. After the salon, we returned to the hotel to grab a few shots of Allison getting into her beautiful wedding dress. Once they were all ready, we had the privilege of photographing Allison and Matt’s first site of each other. They saw each other for the first time in Marriott’s atrium. We love being part of this special moment, the anticipation of seeing their reactions is exciting. Then off to Eton Collection for some bridal portraits and cool bridal pictures. With the rain not letting up, Allison and Matt were like two ducks in a pond simply enjoying each other ; )
After some fun pictures there, we headed back to the Marriott in Highland Heights, for the ceremony and reception where JayR of Selective Sound Entertainment kept the party and the dancing going. We had a great experience working with these two on their wedding day and we’d like to thank Allison and Matt for letting us share and capture their special day.
