Sealed on the first date, at least that’s what Matt told us :) So, here it is. Our night is over, Kate and Matt invited us to have a drink with them and mingle a bit. We pack our gear up and head to the bar. We kick back and relax and just enjoy the atmosphere. The band, Half Moon Jack kicks into a rockin’ classic Rolling Stones riff and out of nowhere, Matt jumps up on stage and starts singing “I’ll never be your beast of burden” —– “You’re a, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty girl” with a full on Mick Jagger strut and attitude that brought the house down! And here I am, sitting enjoying the show without a camera! Well, only one thing I could do, run out to the car and grab the camera, run back in, and as I run back in, wipe out and as I’m falling down capture a few pictures of Matt singing the Rolling Stones hit……..loved evey second of it! So, after Matt gets off stage, we tell Matt that was one of the coolest things we’ve ever seen at a wedding and he tells us he pulled that out on his first date with Kate…….He says it sealed their relationship right then and there……we wouldn’t doubt it Matt!
Kate and Matt’s day started with some very uninviting thunderstorms that started us thinking about taking this outdoor wedding inside. While we where capturing Kate getting dressed, all of the sudden the clouds opened up and the sun peaked out and the clouds just rolled right out of sight. It ended up being a gorgeous day. I think the toast Kate’s dad made, explained the good fortune we all had that day. From the beautiful outdoor ceremony held at the Memorial Arch in Oberlin, Ohio to the fantastic reception we experienced at St. Clarence Pavilion in North Olmsted this was indeed a perfect day for a perfect wedding.
Check out a few of their wedding photos.

Thank you Matt and Kate for having us capture your day.
Have a great time on your Honeymoon!!
