Hmmm, how can I say this? I just shot a wedding yesterday……and I’m having a hard time putting it into words. We had rain, sun, wind, an amazing bride and groom, an enthusiastic bridal party, warm and welcoming families, a fun and wild party………I think if you box all that up and add Lake Erie, Geneva – on – the – Lake, and a Hot Dog Rotisserie, you get one of the coolest weddings on the planet. No……..maybe not, let me think here……..add a Polynesian BBQ, Jimmy Buffet, the Polly Harper Inn Bed & Breakfast, the Jolly Trolly, the Geneva Firehouse, Geneva State Park Marina, the Coast Guard, a yacht, and oh yeah…..a Nacho Bar…….did I mention Cara and Mat?……..the amazing Bride and Groom. Yep, all those ingredients add up to one of the coolest weddings on the planet! Gisella and I started out at the Polly Harper Inn to capture Cara and the girls getting ready for her big day. The Polly Harper Inn, a very cool little B&B located in Geneva, Ohio, surrounded by beautiful vineyards. Robert, our third shooter and assistant, captured the boys getting ready at the Geneva State Park Marina on Mat’s parents yacht. Then off to the ceremony that took place at Mat’s parents cottage overlooking Lake Erie. It was rainy but the skies cleared up for the beautiful ceremony. After the ceremony, the bridal party got on the Jolly Trolley with and intent to capture some fun portraits. We had a blast shooting them around Geneva, OH. We hit the marina, the firehouse, a covered bridge, and the Polly Harper Inn…….we got some great shots guys! We can’t wait to show them all to you! Then back to the cottage for the reception that was wild and fun!! You just can’t get much cooler than a bride and groom being introduced to the guests while AC/DC’s song, Highway to Hell is playing……..well, ok…..let’s add some margaritas and a ton of mini cupcakes and Joe, from Selective Sounds Entertainment, keeping the party going…..Ok……I guess I just put it into words.
Here is a little sneak peak at a few of their wedding pictures.

Gisella and I would like to thank Cara and Mat’s families for welcoming us into their home and treating us like family. You guys made our job easier.
