I just got out of bed and I’m still exhausted. As I write this my feet are tired, my back aches, and I think I found new muscles in my legs that I’ve never used, but it is the type of exhaustion that it exhilarating. Me and Gisella, our two photographers, Robert and Carissa, have just shot one of the coolest weddings we’ve ever witnessed. So, how do you get a rockin’ wedding?
- 1 Part – Walden Inn
- 1 Part – The friendliest and most fun group of family and friends you can find
- 1 part – A beautiful spring day
- 1 Part – A Rockin’ Band (Back Beat)
- 1 part – The coolest photographers on the planet…….ok, maybe not the coolest….but pretty cool………I had to throw in that shameless plug…..really though, we are pretty cool.
- And a Bride and Groom that know how to have fun……and kiss a lot ; )
Yep, that’s the recipe for a very cool and exciting wedding. Emily and Joe had their wedding at the Walden Inn and Stables in Aurora, Ohio. Kate, the wedding coordinator, and the staff at the Walden Inn did a fantastic job of creating a beautiful and picture perfect wedding that was accented with beautiful flower arrangements from the greenhouse in Hudson which also provided the beautiful bouquets for the girls. We started off in the spa with girls and they know how to relax and have fun while their hair and makeup are being done. Mimosa’s all the way around and the nice relaxed atmosphere provided the perfect start to the day and then to the bridal suite which was amazing. Emily, her mom, Ann, and her sisters, Sarah and Betsy where just the coolest gang to hang out with in the morning to capture some beautiful images. Thanks ladies, you made it easy. Then, it was off to get married in the courtyard. The wonderful weather and the birds singing in the background made for a gorgeous ceremony that was filled with joy and love. Just beautiful. After the ceremony, we snuck away from the cocktail hour to grab a few shots of the bridal party and of course Emily and Joe. What a fun bunch they were, loved it guys! Then off to the reception. The toasts where heartwarming, Emily, you’re dad even placed a tear in a couple of our photographers eyes……. emotional speeches that I’m sure placed a tear in many eyes. After dinner, we got to experience a party that was a blast! From Emily’s very talented sister, Betsy, singing a few songs and her uncle on the trumpet sitting in with a rockin’ band, this group of family and friends really knew how to tear up the dance floor……..I’m downloading and playing the 80′s hit, “You Spin Me Round (like a Record) while I spin around in my chair and write this……my wife thinks I’m a little nuts, but she’s smiling ; )
Emily and Joe, you hosted a fantastic party and we are fortunate to have been a part of it. Thank you!!!!

Have a great time in Hawaii!!!!
You might not want to come home :)
