Yesterday, I received some great news from a good photographer friend of mine, Brett. Last year I was fortunate enough to be invited by Brett and his partner, Joe, to join them on a couple of assignments. I’m talking about weddings of course. They where my first attempts at the unique world of wedding photography. Well, from those first two experiences I just fell in love with shooting weddings and the thought of providing couples with beautiful images they could cherish forever. I have nothing but gratitude toward Brett and Joe. If it wasn’t for them, I’m not sure I would have taken the plunge and started my own business. Right about now you’re probably asking yourself what are we celebrating, well if you must know…….. one of the photos I captured for Brett and Joe just made the cover of Lake Erie Living magazine! (February/March) Yes, you heard right, I made the cover of a magazine. I’m like a rock star! Lake Erie Living had done an interview with Brett and asked him to submit a few photos, I guess he submitted one of the images I captured and it was chosen as the cover shot! My wife and I are grateful for the opportunities Brett and Joe have given us and here’s to many more covers! We’d also like to thank the editor of Lake Erie Living, Sharon Doddroe. We are proud to grace the cover of your magazine. Thank you . Also I’d like to thank my wife, my parents, Joe down the street, Lanny the mailman, Hal from Produce and…………………(music playing softly in the background…..my subtle but abrupt cue to get my rump off stage) Hmmm, always wondered what it would be like to give an acceptance speech :) Thanks Everybody!
