Honey you!..are my…shining star!!
Seeing our newlywed couple sing that song to each other…about each other on their first dance as husband and wife brought huge and smiles and warmed our hearts! This family event brought two families together from different cities to our own Aurora, OH! The Walden, one of our favorite places to cover a wedding. Lisa and Jason contacted us a year ago to discuss their wedding day and from then on we knew this would have a great time with them.
Yesterday was an absolute beauty of a day. We started off in the morning as Lisa and the girls got ready at the spa while Jason and the guys watched movies in the theatre. Both, the guys and the girls were totally relaxed and enjoying their time together before the main event. The intimate ceremony opened up with Sonata Strings Trio (Jerry Bruno Productions) and was filled with stories, loving words and much happiness for this special couple. After the ceremony, cocktail hour was underway and we were able to get a few shots of the bride and groom as the guests enjoyed themselves. The Walden grounds are just picture perfect! … I know cliché, but it fits! Wonderful toasts kicked off the dinner by Lisa’s sister Gina and Jason’s uncle Alan. The party started with Geoff from “The Avenue” Band (Jerry Bruno Productions) introducing Jason and Lisa for the first time as Mr. & Mrs. while singing “Shining Star” for their first dance.” The band did a fantastic job rocking the dance floor all night long. Jerry Bruno Productions always has the most professional entertainment we ever come across, so give them a call if you’re looking for a DJ or Band! A shout out to the cupcake artist, Main Street Cupcakes (Hudson, OH) and also the florist, The Greenhouse (Hudson, OH). The cupcake tower was beautiful and yummy! and the flowers were simply stunning! The Walden is one of our favorite places to shoot not only because of the beautiful scenery but also because of the way weddings are coordinated. If you’re looking for a location for your wedding day……don’t hesitate to check out the Walden. Hats off to Kate and her team at the Walden, great job on a wedding well done. But most of all cheers to Lisa and Jason! You two have the right ingredients to make this marriage blend just right!
